Botanical: Camellia

Camellia japonica is perhaps the most well-known variety of Camellia. Associated with love, affection, and admiration, Camellia are native to Japan but were imported to England in the late 1700s, and later brought to North America in 1797, where it thrives.

There is an active American Camellia Society headquartered in Georgia, and a Camellia Trail with gardens in 18 states. Hook(s) on back for easy hanging
